Creativity and New Media
I have created an avatar in Second Life. This avatar does not represent or looks like me. This avatar was created through my imagination and creativity. I used this Second life platform to create an avatar with blue hair, small eyes, and a scar on the face. During this Second Life platform, I can use my creativity to create an avatar that I wanted to use. Through this platform, I can create an avatar that myself believe it was something that represents what I like. It lets me determine the type of hair, face, eyes, and colors of this avatar. It will also let me determine whether I want to display my avatar as a male or female. This let me explore a Second Life, a life that maybe deep down is who I wanted to be.

It is an interesting way of using your Avatar. I liked when you mentioned that it could be the life that maybe deep down is who you wanted to be because you used the Second Life platform to demonstrate a "new version" of you. I mean it is interesting how you created an Avatar based on your imagination because usually, people create them reflecting themselves.
ReplyDeleteThats a really interesting way to think about second life! I agree, it is definitely a way to explore your creativity, especially when it comes to creating your avatar. Besides, no one ever said your second life character was supposed to look like you!
