BLOG: Blog v Wiki

There are some similarities between Blogs and Wiki and there are also some differences between these two. According to Wooster, one difference between these two is that Wiki is more of a collaboration type of post. It is for team support and having a team to create a wide knowledge base. Everyone can contribute to this web page. And anyone can edit or change this web base without the consent from the domain owners. Where else for Blogs, it is more of personal webpages. Where only the domain owners can edit and post different material to this web page. It provides limited collaboration. Also with a reverse chronological format. One of the similarities between Blogs and Wiki is that both are able to post different material for others to see.

It is convergence is extremely important in today's network because of the consumer's experiences. The consumer wanted every platform to exist in one domain because it is more convenient to use. No one wants to comment or watching a video in a separate platform, many people all wanted to exist in the same platform. It is more time-saving for consumers.

According to the article "7 Ways to Collaborate with Other Bloggers" by Growth Marketer, one of the way for the bloggers to collaborate is to do group projects. Where all the bloggers get together and decide on a project to perform. Like an eBook, then everyone produces their unique content then editors will fit all the content together. And all bloggers will promote that eBook on their website.

One way that I can think of is to create a game in the wiki. Like all the programmer come together and use wiki as a platform to code and use that code to create a stable game for any users to play on.

"The Impact of Social Media on the National Basketball Association and its Players"

Social media is what drives the NBA to its great wealth and fortunes. Social media was what separated the NBA from another major league because the NBA embraced social media, unlike other professional sports league. The NBA and its player used social media as a platform to spread their voice and increase their influence around the globe. I will research on how Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms had increased The NBA's wealth and popularity. Also to show how these platforms had help increased the voice of the NBA players and their popularity around the globe. I will be researching how the NBA had used social media to gain wealth and increased its popularity around the globe. And how the NBA players used the social media platform to increase their voice within the league and increased their popularity around the globe. I will also talk about the negative impact of social media on the National Basketball Association and its players. With how social media had impacted the image of the NBA and its players.

The approach I will be using is the search for Sports channel post about this topic and also reading basketball analysts blog post for this topic as well. I will also go to different social media to read about the post that was made by the NBA and its player to see what the reaction from its fans and audiences.
